our road agent out in San Diego has filed another report -- and I'm not ashamed to say it... I'm jealous. the first pic here is paul's view from in front of Ashley Wood's booth where I begged an pleaded with him to get Ash to sketch something for me... the mission was a success.

"Quick Thursday recap before we head out the door....
So I don't have many pix to truly show what 125,000 geeks & nerds look like but that's what we're up against here.
While wandering the toy aisles I was snapping some pix of Matt's beloved Lucha Libre figures and looked over my shoulder and saw a familiar logo. Yup, there's now a Jukebot. And the boxes were all signed - we had missed DJ Shadow by minutes.
We caught the TV Funhouse panel in the evening that featured a live visit from Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Prime targets for him to poop on in that audience! As we were leaving the room there was a MOB heading towards us. For a MOB to stand out at Comicon takes some effort but Paris Hilton seems to have the knack for drawing all the attention. Why's she here? To promote a movie she's in with Ogre from Skinny Puppy, of course.
After that it was off to the Munky King party at Basic Bar for amazing pizza and amazing-er live art. Trying to cram as much into one night as possible we jumped up-town to the StrangeCo party but it was infiltrated by the locals by the time we got there and we bolted back to Basic to see how the art turned out. Heading back to the hotel and all the fat paparazzi are running the streets - Paris must be loose on the town.
OK...back to the fray.
