A new episode of Radio Detour is now up from our pal Jonathan Hanst.
How could I not plug this podcast when he name check King Megatrip in the intro and drops the classic MC 900 ft Jesus track "the killer inside me" into the show?!

I'm a big fan of classic literature, as well as cheezy grindhouse and trashy pulp covers, so I thought I'd mix the two into a design for a shirt! Thanks to all the voters once again for pushing for this to get printed! And, thanks to threadless for rocking once again on the printing!
If you're a jazz fan - here's one for you. I mix a couple of the sections - but there's 11 other dj's involved here as well. All assembled by the man of the hour... gas!
A great 2 hour ride through jazz. Go put it on your ipod!
Go on over to the "This Is" pages for the download.
This week Ghislain Poirier graces us with his presence once again. Music on offer from The 45 King, Supa Dups, Razor X, Mr. Oizo, Hudson Mohawke and more of the most sublime shizz to get your weekend pleasure.
Into hour two and we take another dip into the vaults. DK this time from 2000, this show became one half of a promo mix CD, given away while on a North American tour with Coldcut (the unnofficial first Solid Steel mix CD). Among the usual DK mix of old and new, are Yush 2K "Fade Away" (which made the short list for "Now listen"), The Orb "Little Fluffy Clouds" given an excellent remix by Danny Tenaglia, Big Dada Allstars with their Planet Rock homage "Showtime" and Little Richard on the breaks and beats. Nice!
Part 1 is streamable now from Ninja Tune on the 25/04/2008 show, part 2 downloadable from bosbos.net

So much music on offer it makes me feel a bit sick. Tone Loc, Jurassic 5, Squarepusher, Duran Duran and so many more family favourites!

My "Caveman on Campus" cover star, Dan, is stalked by paparazzi, carries ladders and gets the homeowner to do his job! On the plus side, Dan inadvertently comes up with the title to the next mix in the Van Bowlski series while trying to insult his brother.

DK steps for the next section with a tribute to DJ Froggy (RIP) a pioneer of DJ mixing in the UK. Following a visit to New York in the late 70's he set up his own legendary soundsystem. We get a taste of his mastermixes (a precursor to Solid Steel with the use of spoken word) along with some re-edits and a Gwen Guthrie favourite. Respect.
