Roberto Alcázar was one of the most popular characters in spanish comics between 1940 and 1980. More than 1.000 comic books ("tebeos") were published in that period; Eduardo Vañó is the name of the author.
Roberto Alcázar was an international hero who, with his little friend Pedrín, fights around the world against gangsters, mad doctors, Fu Manchú tipes, monsters and, obviously, gorillas and killer apes.
The covers of this post were published circa 1945 ("El enigma del Hombre Mono") and 1965 (the other one).
I like your blog. Saludos, amigo!
