Solid Steel in association with Serato (17th April)
DK returns with a catch up on the last few months releases and a fresh crop of promos. It's a bass heavy start with the Spor remix of Two Fingers, Bassnectar and the Skream remix of La Roux still sounding good. A touch of Go Go both old and new from Trouble Funk and Arcadion on the aptly titled DC records and wobbly basslines from Mr Benn and Hint. A soulful finish from Queen Yahna and Don Thomas, yes the Visa ad music.
Kilgore Trout makes another appearance on Solid Steel with a party mash up set featuring Sean Paul, Cameo and Herbie Hancock, before dropping the tempo with Bob Marley and Toots & the Maytals. Roots Manuva, Amon Tobin and Gabriel Rios all bring the show to a close.
