solid steel (12 Feb 2010) -- New DJ PAIN and KING MEGATRIP mix, The Soothing System!!

check it out...! DJ Pain and I have got our new mix, The Soothing System airing on Solid Steel this week... click below to listen or download... thanks.

Solid Steel in association with Serato (12th February).

This week, Boom Monk Ben provides another quality mix of beats, bass and the usual speaker wobbling treats to keep you moving in the right direction. Fellow Steeler Moneyshot kicks off the mix, followed closely by The CB's with A-Skillz on the remix, The Pointer Sisters, Zed Bias and Zinc.

Hour 2 has DJ Pain and Solid Steel brother King Megatrip with their 'Soothing System', mix reviving a little known 1970s therapy technique. Buddy Peace, Gaslamp Killer and Mr Chop help them provide the treatment. But, are they doctors? Are they patients? Or are they patients, posing as doctors?! One thing is for certain... you don't want to get caught after dark in their all-new House of Pain...

I, Zombie.

looking forward to this new Vertigo monthly "I,Zombie". Written by Chris Roberson and art from Mike Allred! the premise? check out the write-up found on the Vertigo blog, here:

Told from a female zombie’s perspective, the new monthly comic book series, I, ZOMBIE is a smart, witty detective series with a mix of urban fantasy and romantic dramedy. Gwendolyn “Gwen” Dylan is a 20-something gravedigger in an eco-friendly cemetery. Once a month she must eat a human brain to keep from losing her memories, but in the process she becomes consumed with the thoughts and personality of the dead person until she eats the next one. She sets out to fulfill the dead person’s last request, solve a crime, or right a wrong.

Our zombie girl detective is joined by a radical supporting cast: her best friend Eleanor who happens to be a swinging 60s ghost; a posse of vampires who play paintball; a smitten weredog, and a sexy but demented mummy.

like, yeah!
